Mia Hansen-Løve’s Movie Eden Brings Daft Punk To The Big Screen
Just when you thought you’d seen it all on the big screen, someone went right ahead and did this. Yep, Daft Punk have now been immortalized on the silver screen by Mia Hansen-Løve in her latest movie Eden. Based on Mia’s older brother Sven, who also so happens to be the co-writer, the movie traces the evolution of the French Touch music scene, while documenting the rise of Daft Punk and their now infamous electronic sound.
Having already received great reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival and the New York Film Festival, and with the movie screening at the Sundance Film Festival this week…we’re really interested to find out what all the hype is about. So distributors, if you’re reading this, please make a plan to bring this movie to SA.
