How These Producers Flow In The Studio
Every music producer has their own arsenal of tricks and techniques that they use in the studio. Their own creative processes that they go through when making a song, and not to mention, their own gear and gadgets that they use to get the specific sounds they’re looking for. It’s a beautiful thing watching producers at work in their sanctums. Watching them meticulously craft their music. Watching them create something from absolutely nothing. It’s a rare sight to behold, the producer at work in their lair. And if by chance you should be so fortunate as to spot one in action…man, what a sight it is to see.
Often times, one never really gets a glimpse into the mind of a producer to understand what their thinking was behind a song. What motivated them to use a certain sample. What inspired them to give a track a specific name. All too often, we just switch on the radio and listen to the finished product, without giving any thought to these seemingly inconsequential things. But truth be told, there’s a beauty in understanding the thought process behind a track. It adds another layer of meaning to the music, and yet another layer to how we understanding the artist in question, something that undoubtedly makes the music listening experience all the more enjoyable.
