We all knew that he’d win something. However, not many of us could have predicted that he’d walk away with four Grammy Awards. Having won Grammy Awards for Record of the year, Song of the year, Best pop vocal album and Best new artist, we think it’s safe to say that at this current point in time, Sam Smith is the golden boy of the music industry. But why is that you may ask…
Hmmm, could it be the soulful texture of his voice, the intimate way in which he connects with his lyrics, and not to mention the conviction with which he sings them? At least that’s what we think. All these ingredients and so many more make him one of the most versatile singers currently around. That would most probably explain why he’s a dream for any house music producer to work with & remix.
