Lyric Me This, Lyric Me That – Our Favorite Lyric Music Videos
In the history of the world, there have been some pretty interesting innovations that have come about. Like Tamagotchis, and Walkmans. Oh, and who can forget those sneakers that lit up when you walked. But in our opinion, in the coming years, there will be no greater innovation, or rather should we say, adaptation of something that already exists than the lyric video. No really, think about it! Kids spend between 5 and 7 hours a day (that’s a guess by the way) watching music videos. That means spending 5 to 7 hours not doing their homework.
Enter the lyric music video. Now we don’t know how they came about, and we definitely don’t know if they’re here to stay. All we know is that we woke up one day, only to find that our beloved ABC’s were being displayed in all their colourful glory on the MTV’s of the world. At first, we thought it was world karaoke day, however, as this trend slowly gained momentum, it suddenly dawned on us that this phenomenon was a collaboration between the teachers and musicians of the world. A gramatical collaboration that was geared towards eradicating world illiteracy. A collaboration, that was geared towards getting people to never again mess up any artists lyrics.
Ok, we’re taking it a bit too far now. Whatever the case may be with lyric music videos, all we know is that we find them entertaining. And now, we don’t have any excuse not to know the CORRECT words to our favorite artists songs. So sit back, and read or sing along to some of our favorite house lyric music videos.
